Welcome to the newly redesigned iFirePrevention website — your source for Community Risk Reduction (CRR) resources. Community Risk Reduction is the identification and prioritization of risks followed by the integrated application of resources of improve public safety and reduce increasing call volumes, according to Vision 20/20.
While CRR focuses on more issues, the purpose of this website is to provide the resources for individuals, educators, and emergency services to help with education, engineering and enforcement programs with the goal to reduce the 9-1-1 calls. Additionally, we have separated information into three different “audiences” to help each part of our community access the information that will best help them.
Our goal is to provide you with CRR resources and supporting successes from across the country. PREVENTING a 9-1-1 call is not “Bad” word. Stay with us and learn new steps to improve existing programs for your local school, daycare, business or emergency service stations.
